These terms apply to your use of this website and to any order you place through it. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accepted them.

Who we are

Bart&Kaali is owned by Inspirit Lda, (Registered INPI 759545), Funchal, Madeira, Portugal. Contact: geral@inspirit.agency.

Design and materials

Every Bart&Kaali design is our own, developed in-house on the island of Madeira. Our bags are made from high-quality vegan PU leather, chosen for matching the look and durability of traditional leather while keeping the whole product free of any animal-derived material.

Manufacturing

Our bags are handcrafted by international manufacturing partners of excellence — the same factories that produce some of the world's leading luxury brands. Every partner is held to strict quality control, with regular audits confirming there is no child labour or exploitative labour practice anywhere in the production of our bags.

Pre-orders and production time

Our bags are currently sold as pre-orders: each one is produced after you order it, which takes about 1 month. Delivery times after dispatch depend on the destination and the carrier.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros and include VAT where applicable. Payment is processed securely by Stripe at checkout. We never see or store your card details. An order is confirmed once payment has been received.

Shipping

Shipping is free to the countries offered at checkout.
Shipping to Countries outside Europe may have aditional custom taxes that you will have to pay.

Cancelling an order

You can cancel for a full refund until production of your bag starts which is the first 24 hours. Once production has started we can no longer cancel the order, but your legal right of withdrawal below still applies once you receive it.

Right of withdrawal and returns

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason. To do so, tell us by email and send the bag back to us within 14 days after that.

The bag must come back unused and in good condition, in its original packaging.
The cost of returning it is paid by you.
We refund the amount paid using the same payment method, once we have received the bag, or once you show proof that you have sent it.

Defects and legal guarantee

Every bag is covered by the legal guarantee for non-conforming goods (3 years for new goods in Portugal). If your bag arrives damaged or not as described, email us with your order details and photos and we will repair, replace or refund it as the law requires.

Intellectual property

All designs, photos, texts and other content on this site belong to Bart&Kaali and may not be reused without our written permission.

Liability

We do our best to keep this site accurate and available, but we can't guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under applicable law.

Complaints and disputes

You can send a complaint to geral@inspirit.agency. In Portugal you can also use the electronic complaints book at livroreclamacoes.pt. These terms are governed by Portuguese law.

Consumers in other EU countries can also contact the European Consumer Centre in their country.
